Dear MoveOn member,
Donald Trump just chickened out.
For months, Trump and Republicans in Congress demanded that billions more in taxpayer dollars be spent on ICE. They held hostage funding for TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and other Homeland Security agencies in order to get more money for ICE.
But they lost. Trump just signed a bill to fund DHS—without a single penny more for ICE.1
And it happened because MoveOn members and progressives across the country held the line—protesting, marching, and flooding Congress with calls—demanding an end to ICE’s brutality. It’s what’s possible when millions of us fight together.
To celebrate our victory, and to let the world know we will keep fighting and won’t back down, MoveOn is re-releasing our union-made ICE Out T-shirts as well as our enamel pins! It’s one of our most popular artwork designs in years, and the merch is bold, visible, and made for this moment.

Cassandra, CNN called our movement victory “a major retreat by Speaker Mike Johnson” and noted that the bill “includes no money for federal immigration enforcement.”2
But we know what that means: Republicans will come back looking to fund ICE with a vengeance.
Already, Republicans in the Senate are laying the groundwork for a budget package that would provide an estimated $70 billion in additional funding for ICE and Custom and Border Protection—the agency that shot and killed Alex Pretti.3,4
We must continue to be loud, bold, courageous, and outspoken in our fight against ICE. And wearing your ICE Out shirt or pin does exactly that, keeping this issue at the forefront and reminding people of ICE’s abuses.
Unlike at big-box stores, every dollar you spend at MoveOn’s store powers our work to stop ICE's reign of lawlessness—and to build a world marked by peace and justice for all.

Thanks for all you do.
