Billionaire-backed super PACs are pouring millions into this election to try to buy the outcome. Elon Musk's America PAC has already spent more than $8 million on the midterms, and he's pledged to spend at least $120 million more to help Republicans hold Congress this fall.1 But their money doesn't vote—we do, and we need to out-organize them on the ground.
That’s where tailgates come in. MoveOn members are gathering for “tailgates” outside the campaign offices of MoveOn-endorsed candidates before volunteering together for the campaign. This way, no one has to show up alone, and attendees get a free MoveOn T-shirt!

These tailgates are hosted by fellow MoveOn members just like you, and we want to help them pack the house. It's an easy, low-pressure way to get involved—no experience needed, no showing up solo, just a fun way to meet new people and make an impact this election season.

MoveOn has zeroed in on 36 races across the country where real progressive champions are within reach, the ones who back Medicare for All, refuse corporate PAC money, and fight for working people. These races are winnable, and could deliver a Democratic House, which will be a check on Trump’s power, but only if enough of us show up to do the work between now and Election Day. Joining a tailgate is one of the easiest and most fun ways to make that happen.
