We’re just four days away from Election Day, and the Trump administration continues to attempt to pull the strings to get their way. Recently, Trump’s Department of Justice said they’ll interfere in the certification of Alaska’s election if Republicans don’t win.1 And now, in the latest of a series of attacks on the state of California, the DOJ has issued subpoenas to California election workers in their attempts to disenfranchise eligible voters in the state.2
We know we face a clear threat from those who would prefer to decide the results of the election themselves, instead of the voters. But our movement is powerful. No future is decided without us.
That’s why the No Kings movement stands ready to mobilize if necessary in response to attacks on our elections and votes. No Kings, which includes millions of Americans, is building a nonviolent mass movement that is prepared to ensure every vote is counted, every election is certified, and all the results are respected. And MoveOn members are a critical part of this plan.

Sign the pledge to host an event: No Kings is committed to intentional organizing with trusted local hosts. If we need to mobilize, it will likely happen quickly, so we'll need to identify hosts ahead of time to support you in planning your actions faster than ever.
Sign the pledge to attend an event: If you can’t host an event, pledge to attend one! It’s critical going into Election Day that there’s a solid base of people committed to turn out in the streets if needed.
Whether you’ve participated in a No Kings action in the past or not, this is a critical opportunity to be a part of our nation’s largest nonviolent mass movement that will help ensure our democracy lives to see another day.
The truth is, we do not know how this election will play out–nothing is inevitable and the need to mobilize is not guaranteed. But in the event that we do, we must be ready and move fast.
Many of us have already voted, and if you haven’t, make your plan ahead of Tuesday. But our job doesn’t end when we cast our ballot. It’s critical that we see this though until every vote is counted, every election is certified, and all the results are respected.
